Can anyone tell me, what “rubbing alcohol” is? I´m a teacher from Germany and I usually use Ethanol for an experiment like that. I could not find any translation of rubbing alcohol, even the english teachers were not able to translate. Can anybody give me the formula?

Rubbing alcohol is same as normal laboratory alcohol.. i used ethanol for this experiment in my college..
